I usually don't write about the books I have read but I thought why not. To say that this book is set in another country and culture is fact. That country is Afghanistan. Although most of the reviews I have read state that this book gives a glimpse into another world, I find the essence to be that of pure captivation in human emotion. The Kite Runner is so beautifully written with such striking details. I would recommend this to any book lover.
