Where we stayed:
Villa Toscana
Great house in Playcar Phase I, right on the beach. The location of this house could not have been any better, our back door looked to the beach. It was staffed with housekeeping on all weekdays and for any other service needed we used Playa Concierge.
For house rental contact Cassia-- tell her Sonia sent you and ask for a special rate.

Maura and Luz will take care of everything you need from airport transfers to cooking services. I even had a massage on the roof of my Villa ;)

I really liked this place. It was lively and the food was good. I had seafood soup and Erick had a steak. I would recommend this to anyone.

This was a beautiful restaurant. Great atmosphere and great drinks. The food was good but not excellent.
Aca Los Tacos
Cheap good food-- what more could you want. Beware of the green sauce-- it will light your ass on FIRE
Adele's
Cute place, super sad singing piano player-- if I had a beer there would have been a tear in it! Food-- ehh not so much
Babes Noodle Bar

I have seen lots of reviews raving about this place. While it was good, I would not call it spectacular. It was good though.
Pepe's in Cozumel

Wonderful food. Nothing was bad here, in fact it was stellar. I would eat it twice on the same trip-- that's saying a lot for me.
